And So It Begins

Hey friends,

What a year it has been. Our older son Lee began Bible School and our younger son Adam started high school - Peter and I could not be more content with our family. We are healthy and happy, enjoying being together as our boys’ growing-up years shorten.

Meeting Billy Smiley in August 2016, then having the opportunity to work with him in his studio in Nashville this past November, I have gained new insight and confidence, and I have new goals to strive for. We talked and shared our life stories, we co-wrote songs, and we recorded demos for each song. I loved our time together and am very appreciative to God for Billy as my producer but also my confidant and friend.

I have spent this past winter rehearsing, performing, and writing, all in anticipation for recording our new songs. Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported me financially, as through both my work and your gifts, I am now able to begin recording our new project! I will be in studio with Billy in Nashville this next week, June 5-10th, working on our first three songs.

Please pray for me – for focus, guidance, sleep (the adrenaline rush during the recording process often prevents me from proper rest), and for continued provision.

Once home, I will spend the summer and fall rehearsing, performing, and earning my way back to record our remaining songs in November 2017. Should you wish to contribute to the making of this project, please do so through my GoFundMe page. In anticipation of this, I thank you!

I will be returning to two-one bistro on June 17th, and I’d love to see you there! Visit my Appearances page for more info.

I am super excited to be invited to perform at Hope150! Hope150 is a Christian Canada Day Celebration, in Calgary, on June 30th and July 1st. Join us to hear stories of hope, as well as Canadian performers from across the country! I will be sharing my testimony of hope and performing on July 1st, at 9:50 a.m. (times are subject to change). This is a free event, open to everyone! Visit www.hope150.ca for more info.

Should your church or group wish to have me perform, please send me a note. I’d love to hear from you!

Thank you again for your continued interest and support!

Keep going,

Rhonda Louise
