Gospel Music Association of Canada Week Coming Up

Hey! How are you? October has been a busy and productive month for me, full of surprises I’ll never forget. Along with continuing to learn about faith, I’ve learned that God’s plans are much bigger and miraculous than we can imagine. Just when we think he doesn’t hear us, he does. Just when we’re about to give up, he says, “Keep going, and trust me.” And, when we have our doubts, he reminds us of his unfathomable wisdom to guide us through. What would we do without Him? “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.’” (Jeremiah 29:11-12, NLT) This next week, Nov. 4-7th, I’m excited to attend Gospel Music Association of Canada Week in Burlington, ON. GMA Canada Week is a full four days of talent and song-writing competitions, showcases, workshops and sessions (all to do with the Christian Music industry), and the Covenant Awards, all which I will be taking part of! Pray for me as I compete, perform, and reconnect with artists, producers, radio personnel, and friends in the industry. It’s an exhausting week, but one that is also spiritually refreshing, and one I look forward to every year! Join us at the Crossroads Center in Burlington on Mon., Nov. 5th, where I will be performing at the showcase evening. I’m honoured to share the stage with Canada’s top Christian artists, and look forward to reconnecting with them again. More info regarding the venue, times, etc., are posted at www.gmacanada.ca. Once I return home, I’ll be busy working with my producer and good friend Daron, and my drummer and close friend, Brent, among other musicians, to record what promises to be an awesome project. Pray for us for direction, wisdom, and purpose. Stay tuned for more updates regarding release dates, CD release parties, etc. Then, after a long break from performing, join me at The House Coffee Sanctuary on Dec. 22nd for a relaxed evening of music, both Christmas and otherwise. It’s always a fun night at The House, so I hope to see you there! Should your church, group, or family wish to have me to come to share, perform, and/or lead worship, please contact me. I’d love to meet with you. As always, my “Rhonda” Facebook page is updated regularly with news and photos. Please visit my “Rhonda” Facebook page, “Like” my page, and stay connected! Look for the “Facebook” icon on my web site menu bar, click on it, and enjoy. More dates and news are to follow, so stay in touch. God is doing amazing things in my life and in lives around me. Never underestimate what he can do, and be ready to obey him. It’s an awesome way to live – trust me.
