And on the story goes…

I love songwriting, recording, then sharing those songs. The lyrics and messages in the songs I’ve chosen for my upcoming CD are of personal and vulnerable struggle, but also of hope - “Strength that is not my own, peace unexplainable”, “When all I know falls apart, I believe You’re never far”, “I know there will be a day when you can finally breathe”, “I am Yours, and Lord You are mine”, “Tell me this isn’t forever, Tell me You’ll make a way…”, “Let your beautiful heart shine through, you are beautiful you”, “You’ve carried me through this all along”, “It’ll be good, oh so good”…

As I wrote, chose these songs, then decided on the order of songs on the CD, little did I realize that, in the end, it would play out as a story. Each song represents a chapter, moments in life of both the wonderful and the unforeseeable pain. The message of this CD is my personal story – of God’s leading, grace, healing, hope, constant presence, comfort, and love. And the good news is, this message and hope is for all who hear it. God loves you, and while you may be in a season of pain, it is a season, a moment of time. God’s forgiveness and grace is not only to heal our soul, but also to offer us a full life (“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (Jesus – John 10:10). While God never promised a perfect life, and as I stumble along the way, He did promise to never leave us, nor abandon us (“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Jesus - Hebrews 13:5). If you are in a season of ease, thank God for that peace and ask Him how you can be of service to others. If you are in a season of struggle, please know this isn’t the end. Ask God to forgive you, guide you, and give you strength. Just keep going…

The songs have been recorded and the packaging details have been finalized, but there are a few business hurdles to conquer before releasing the CD. The time spent waiting and praying has reminded me that God’s timing is always better than what I think is right. It is also giving me time to breathe and prepare for what might come after its release. My personal reminder is this – “I don’t know what He’s doing, but I know who He is.”

Pray with us for a breakthrough in communication with the right contacts, and for clarity and peace as we navigate our responsibilities.

In the meantime, I’ll have exciting news to share in the next couple of weeks! Be sure to sign up for News updates to be the first to know!

Keep going,

Rhonda Louise
