Continuing to Learn About Faith
Hey! How have you been? It’s continuing to be a busy and sometimes trying spring for my family and I. In between my life in music and in my family, I am continuing to learn about FAITH... Did you know that you can be thankful, even during a trying time? How do you respond in a crisis? How does it affect your relationship with God? Do you allow it to distract you from God, or do you make the decision to allow God to help you? During a crisis, my faith is initially challenged, but then strengthened while I decide to trust and lean on God. I am humbled, learning that I am not enough, but God is our healer, guide, and strength. Whatever your circumstance, go to God throughout your day, and ask for his direction, strength, and peace. Also, don’t be afraid to lean on and be honest with mature friends who can support you. Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (Matthew 11:28-29, NLT)
Join me this Saturday at The House Coffee Sanctuary, in Calgary, where I will be sharing my favorite songs as well as my own. It’s always memorable at The House, so I’d love to see you there!
Also, watch for more dates to come this summer and fall. I look forward to seeing you.
