New Season / New Opportunities

Hey friends! These past few months have been a period of appreciation - savouring time with my family and enjoying playing/performing with regained health. They have also been a time of change - Peter and I have been proud to see our sons' accomplishments and then see them enter new chapters in their own lives - our older son Lee graduated high school then started college, and our younger son Adam entered high school. We're super proud of their accomplishments but especially proud of their continued growth in their faith in Christ. I myself am entering a new season. I have been given an opportunity within my musical career, of which I am excited but am also nervous. I'm learning that my faith and trust in God isn't as strong as I thought, and at times my belief in myself isn't what it should be. In those times when I'm tempted to feel inadequate, I'm reminded of God's grace - "Rhonda, you do what you can do, and I'll do the rest." The new opportunity is overwhelming and a lot to take in, but I cannot wait to see what is to come. What gifts has God given to you? How are you able to use them? Who has he placed in your life for you to help, or who has he blessed you with for support? Do you trust Him? Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us by saying "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." I'm excited to join my friends of "Infinitely More" for a special evening of music this Wednesday evening, October 19th, in Westlock, Alberta.
